According to Good Housekeeping UK, the Australian crime drama Bay of Fires is returning to ITV (via ITVX) for a second series, offering a perfect fix for fans missing Broadchurch-style small-town mystery and drama. Set in the remote Tasmanian town of Mystery Bay, the show follows former corporate CEO Stella Heikkinen (Marta Dusseldorp), who is placed in witness protection after her involvement in white-collar crime, only to find her new community full of criminal chaos rather than peace. In the upcoming series, Stella has become the effective leader of Mystery Bay, but faces new threats from a drug lord, a cult and escalating local conflict, promising more twists, dark comedy and eccentric characters. Bay of Fires series 2 arrives on ITVX on 30 November, with the first season available to catch up on now.
